Here are some useful sites for you and your child that relate to this year of their schooling!
We use ClassDojo to track student behavior. Each day, your child has the opportunity to earn positive & negative points based on his/her behavior.
ClassDojo Messaging allows me to send quick messages straight to your cell phone. I use this for reminders and important updates. You do not need a smartphone to receive messages.
The ClassDojo app (free for iPhone & Android) also allows you to send messages to me. This is by far the best way to contact me, as I frequently see these messages before emails!
Please let me know if you need sign up instructions with your child’s unique code.
Google Classroom is our go to in the classroom. There are many websites, videos, and information that will put on this webpage throughout the year. For students to access this at home, they need to know their email and their password.
Example:
Email- 31alorenzo@basd.net
Password- 65555basd (the numbers will be their lunch code they punch in. Let them know their password is the same one they use to get into their chromebook.)
Clever is home to our educational websites and student/teacher pages. It is what we use to log into various sites throughout our day!
Here is where you can place your book orders throughout the school year! If you do not already have an account, you can create one under the parents tab. My personal code is NR68R.
Reflex math is to help your child with their math fluency with identifying numbers as well as with addition and subtraction. Your child can play this game AT HOME! You also can monitor their progress. At the beginning of the year, your child will receive a paper with more information on this!
ST math is a problem solving math resource that your students use everyday! It challenges your child's way of thinking and goes at their pace. This is another game available to your student AT HOME!
eSpark is an adaptive, online program that provides K-5 math and reading instruction at each student’s level. It’s differentiated. Our built-in placement quiz for math and reading finds the appropriate grade level for each student. After the placement quiz, eSpark automatically assigns standards-aligned “Quests” at their level.
