Review Cycle

Note: Curriculum development is a dynamic process. Informed by data, curriculum and instruction are reviewed on a regular basis. Major revisions tied to significant resource development occur in the budget cycle. Questions regarding Bellefonte Area School District's curriculum should be directed to the office of the Director of Curriculum and Instruction.

Key:

X = review of curriculum (major review for re-sequencing and/or resource alignment/purchase; mapping process)

XX = resource review/purchase of aligned resources (update of materials based on data): diary mapping (lesson planning)

Note: a review of global level data occurs on a regular (yearly basis) basis for curricular and instructional adjustments. Dependent upon individual content timelines, implementation may occur during the same year as resource review OR the year following resource review. Review of classroom and individual student data is continual and ongoing to inform classroom instruction.
