Important Dates for the 26/27 School Year:
Early September - First meeting of the year! Join the email list here for updated information as we get closer!
September-Mid October - Intro to Drama Workshops once or twice per week from 3:30-4:30 (optional, but highly encouraged!)
Mid-October - Seussical Auditions
Rehearsals will be Monday-Thursday 3:30-5:00. Students are not called for every rehearsal.
Saturday Rehearsal Dates (not mandatory, but we ask that you do your best to attend!) - January 16, January 30
Fundraiser Event (not mandatory, but we ask that you do your best to attend!) - February 20
Show Dates: February 25-27 7pm, 28 2pm
The Bellefonte Area Middle School Drama Club offers students in grades 6-8 the opportunity to perform a musical for the school and local community. Through this experience, students can choose to participate in the performance aspect of theatre and improve their singing, dancing, and acting skills or the technical theatre side giving students the opportunity to operate sound and lighting equipment, make and design costumes, do hair and makeup, and participate on the stage crew.
Drama Club activities typically begin in the fall (September/October) and conclude with the performance of our production in late February/early March.
