I am so excited to be entering my ninth year with the BAMS Drama Club! In addition to being the advisor of the BAMS Drama Club, I am also the Elementary General Music Teacher at Marion-Walker and Pleasant Gap Elementary Schools. When I am not teaching music, I love spending time with my husband, Josh, and our 5 year old daughter, Amelia and our one year old son, Elliott.
I am a graduate of Penn State University, where I received my Bachelors of Music Education. I am also a graduate of Bellefonte Area High School, where I was an active member of the marching and concert bands, honors and concert choirs, and Drama Club. I have been performing for over 20 years with Kennedy Dance Centre, Bellefonte Middle School and High School Drama Clubs, Singing On Stage Studios, and Millbrook Playhouse. Some of my favorite roles I have performed include Gertrude in Seussical the Musical, Amneris in Elton John and Tim Rice's AIDA, Nellie Forbush in Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific, and the title role in Annie.
I believe that Drama Club is a place where all students are accepted and respected. Everyone can find their niche in Drama Club whether it is performing on the stage, working backstage, running the sound and light board, and more! Theatre is a great place to be creative, work as a group in a supportive environment, and be yourself! Looking forward to a great year!
