Computer Tech - 3rd hr

2/3/17

This week in computer technology we learned about digital citizenship. We learned about privacy. We learned how to keep our own password to ourselves. Also we learned how to not overshare. We also learned to make sure it is your actual friend. Another topic we learned about was cyberbullying. We where told to think before we send. We also learned to ask to post pictures of people. And to not do not talk behind someones back. That is all of digital citizenship we learned this week.

2/10/17

This week we learned about how to use the web responsibly. Including how to stop cyberbullying, not to trust all websites and how to know if it trust worthy(.org or .gov), how to create strong passwords, not to share too much on social media, and how social media can effect you in the future.

2/17/17

This week we took a test that had marking up the text in it. This test also was built up by teaching us about proofreading marks and more. Later in the week we started learning about business letters and what type of communications they use such as letters. We also had to do stations that worked with the letters and the corrections.

2/24/17 This week we learned about formal business writing. There are three different kinds of formal business writing: letters, memos, and emails. We learned how to format these different kinds of writing as well. We also did a series of stations based around letters, memos, and emails.

This week we did a google spreadsheets on shopping. It was fun and most of us learned a lot. We also got new seats.

This week we worked on making surveys and making them in prezi or google presentation. Also we presented the presentaion to the whole class. Thats what we've been doing this whole week.

4/3/17 On Monday we started to present our products. -Austin B

4/4/17 On Tuesday, we continued and finished the rest of the Shark Tank presentations. -Alex I

4/5/17 On Wednesday we had started to code on Hour of Code all class. The thing we had to do was this on a certain Minecraft code game. -Aiden M

4/6/17 On Thursday for the people who didn't complete it yet had to work on it. For everyone else got to play other coding games and try different coding web sites. -Malaky F

4/21/17

This week we worked on our scratch about us and conversation. - Cory Flees

Also, we worked on our Band scratch project and our scratch skills. - Caden Oldenburg

4/28-5/5

On the week of 4/28, we finished up working on Scratch with our last project.

On the week of 5/5, we began to work on an app called GarageBand, which is an app to make your own songs, with a variety of many instruments (Drums, Piano, Guitar, etc.). We then started to create songs to get us used to GarageBand, for example, our first official song is about our mood, and we had to include at least 3 loops and at least 3 instruments. -Grace M.

5/19/17 this week we did the stop motion film. Closer to the end of the week we then edited the stop motion. Once we were finished with editing the stop motion we shared them with the class.
