REGISTRATION FOR THE 2025 RESOURCE FAIR is CLOSED. 2026 Registration COMING SOON!
Dear Agency Representative,
We are happy to announce that our Racine County Special Needs Resource Fair will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 4:30-7:00pm. We have extended the time by 30 minutes to allow families a longer opportunity to explore the resource fair tables.
Exciting news this year - we have a NEW LOCATION of Union Grove Elementary School, located at 1745 Milldrum Street, Union Grove, Wisconsin!! This NEW LOCATION is more centrally located in the County, which we hope will bring in families from surrounding communities and school districts! We would love to have you as an exhibitor!
The Racine County Special Needs Resource Fair is sponsored and organized by multiple school districts in Racine County, along with the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC). By attending the Resource Fair, you will have the opportunity to share information about your agency with parents/caregivers, community members, and educators/school staff who either have, or work with, children ages birth to twenty-one, with a physical, cognitive, social, emotional, learning, developmental, mental health, or behavioral disability.
Please RSVP by March 15, 2025, so we can include your agency name in communication that will be sent to families and community members. Earlier RSVPs are also appreciated! There is NO FEE for participating in the resource fair.
Please bring any information/brochures/flyers and give-away items (fidgets, stickers, other "swag") you have for families to take with them. And, if you would like to bring a door prize, please feel free to do so. Every individual/family who attends the resource fair will receive a promotional bag supplied by ADRC (while supplies last) so they have a place to carry all the great information they receive.
If you have an item or flyer about your agency that you would like added to our promotional bags ahead of time (or, your agency is not able to attend the event, but want your information included), please send the items/information to: Amy Anhold, c/o PAC House, 340 Church Street, Burlington, WI 53105.
Set-up for the resource fair is from 3:30pm-4:30pm. Tear down/pack-up STARTS at 7:00pm. I will send more information as the date gets closer regarding where you will unload your items and park your vehicle.
All agencies will have at least 1 table and 2 chairs. Union Grove Elementary School also has a large space (gym) that allows ALL agencies to be in the same room, as well as more parking spaces available, and easier access to the building for loading/unloading. Similar as last year, we had to make a small concession regarding the size of the tables.
We have primarily 36" x 36" card tables for this event (if you attended last year, this was also the case). We do not have enough card tables available to provide two card tables/space, so each space will only have ONE table. If you are planning to bring your own table for the event, we will have volunteers available to help bring the table from your vehicle to your space.
We hope you will join us for this great event so we can help connect as many children, families, and educators/staff to resources and supportive services in the community. Please let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday April 15, 2025, at our NEW LOCATION OF UNION GROVE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, located at 1745 Milldrum Street in Union Grove.
We have made an effort to reach as many agencies as possible, but may have missed some. Please feel free to share this information with others in your network. Each year, we continue to grow in the number of agencies who attend.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Lori Radtke at specialneedsresourcefair@basd.k12.wi.us or (262) 763-0220 ext 6226 or text (262) 955-8955. I am using the above email address for the Resource Fair moving forward, in hopes that emails will not be missed.
