My name is Mindy Brown, and this will be my first year serving as your child's full-time school counselor. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to begin my journey in this new role. 

I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I attended Campbellsville University and received my Master’s Degree in Special Education. I then completed a second Master's in School Guidance Counseling from Campbellsville University. 

I began my career at North Jackson 16 years ago. Previously, I taught preschool, kindergarten, and fourth grades. For the past two years, I was blessed to work with numerous students throughout several grade levels and across many settings as one of the ECE teachers.

I live in Monroe County with my husband, Chan. We love being outdoors and spending time with our family and friends. We also enjoy going to concerts!
