The You before the Mountain

Students, remember, that as mountain movers and climbers, we must not forget about ourselves. There are days we prepare for the climb. There are days we rest after a climb. These days are crucial.

If we move and climb every day then we will struggle. I loved this reminder. Be sure and take a break from your climb to refuel. The You must be put before the Mountain, for without the You there is no climb.

Bears Being Mindful with Yoga

Yoga is just one way that our BEARS are learning to be mindful during stressful times. It allows for the frontal lobe of the brain to access storage in the back of the brain that is needed to make a good choice whether it be academically, socially, emotionally or physically. Give it a try!

February 2020 Mountain Movers

These Bears have shown leadership by being...

  • Brave in their decisions

  • Encouraging

  • Appreciative

  • Responsible

  • Showing Everyone Dignity and Respect
