The Great Indoors*

The Scouts are known for the great outdoors, but they have now put their heads together to find things to do inside. EYFS aged children will need help for most activities but teamwork makes the dream work! Some tasks will also give purpose to that one 'outside visit' for exercise that you get a day.

First News*

Newspaper aimed at children aged 7-14. You will need a valid email to access their free download. This is something you could look at together with your child(ren).

Free Online Series from Julia Donaldson*

Julia Donalson, the writer of 'The Gruffalo', is launching a free online series live on Facebook every Thursday at 4pm. See link and details on the Radio Times website.
Please note: Children should not have their own Facebook accounts and should be watched under adult supervision.

'The Show Must Go On'*

Universal have started to screen a full-length musical on YouTube every Friday at 7pm and will be available for 48 hours (2 days).

New BBC Bitesize Daily Lessons

From this week, the BCC is starting to publish daily lessons for most year groups, however they don't explicitly provide content for our year group (Early Years) as content starts from Year 1. We've included this link incase any of our children have older siblings that might benefit from this content.

Oak National Academy

The Oak National Academy started providing 'daily lessons' last week . The site offers some content for EYFS but please have a look at the resources and 'follow the enthusiasm' with your child. If you think that the content isn't suitable (for whatever reason) then try to adapt it or disregard and check back the next day to see if they have anything new. Let us know how it goes if you choose to use it.
