Welcome to the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) microsite. The aim of the site is to provide a collection of resources that parents new to the school or new to Year R might find helpful.
We aim to add carefully chosen resources and guides that are designed to help you and answer frequently asked questions or common questions that we get asked as the year goes on.
If you have any suggestions of things to include on the site in the future then please contact us. Although content sometimes takes time to produce, we want to ensure the site is as helpful as possible so please share any ideas.

Learning starts at home
Learning really does start at home. It is often where children develop their interests and fine-tune their skills.
We are always on the lookout for evidence in school to map the progress of every child in the year group. We use written observational notes, photos and the work that the children do in school to create a Learning Journal. But this only tells us part of the story...
We need you to be on the look out for the same evidence at HOME too!

As the school prepares to close for an otherwise unknown duration we aim to add resources here that could be of use to promote learning at home.
These may be resources to print out, resources to view on devices, links to educational websites and games.
