Why Larue County?

There are several reasons why I am drawn to the opportunity of serving as Superintendent in LaRue County.

I am eager to contribute to the continuation of this proud legacy.

LaRue County's strong sense of community and its close-knit relationships between schools, families, and local businesses resonate deeply with me. I believe that collaboration is key to the success of any school district, and I am eager to build meaningful partnerships that enhance the overall educational experience for students in an area of Central Kentucky rich in both community and history. An area of Kentucky that means a great deal to me and my family.

In his first political address in 1832, speaking on the subject of education, Abraham Lincoln said, “Upon the subject of education, not presuming to dictate any plan or system respecting it, I can only say that I view it as the most important subject which we as a people can be engaged in.” I agree with the former President and can think of no better place to engage in the work of education than where he was born.
