Book Creator - All Grades, All Subjects

Book Creator - BCSD has a paid license for this tool. Book Creator allows teachers and students to create digital publications. These can include text, images, student drawings, photos, videos, documents, web links and more!  Books can be read aloud , published, downloaded and printed.  The Resources page has searchable examples for all grade levels or subject area. Check out student examples.  With our district license, teachers can have 100 libraries and up to 1000 books!

EdPuzzle

EdPuzzle - This excellent tool combines video and assessment questions to make learning interactive. Choose from a bank of instructional videos, or upload your own. Insert pauses, voice-overs, voice comments, note and assessments anywhere in the video. Assign via Google Classroom. The best part? When you set these up for students, you can control the videos so students cannot skip through the content! 

*BCSD has a license for MS and HS for unlimited videos.  Elementary can use the free license that allows up to 2o videos.

eSpark is an adaptive, online program that provides instruction at each student level using the student's individual MAP score for math and ELA. BCSD has purchased this for iPreK-4 (and 5th grade ELA).  YouTube Channel

Gizmos

Fun and easy to use, Gizmos help students develop a deep understanding of challenging concepts through inquiry and exploration. Students use Gizmos to interact with and explore hundreds of math and science topics ranging from heredity to trigonometry. Teachers use Gizmos as dynamic "what-if" tools to help students move beyond memorizing to true understanding. Each simulation is ideal for small group work, individual exploration, or whole class instruction using an LCD projector or interactive whiteboard.

KAMI PDF Annotator

Kami is the leading PDF & document annotation app for schools. Improve engagement and interaction in the classroom with Kami as your digital pen and paper.  Our paid license will make it simpler for you and your students to save document to Google Drive via Google Classroom. Paid features also include voice typing, adding audio and video to documents, and even creating screen captures.

Screencastify

Screen recording has many uses in the classroom and teachers are finding this very useful during this time. Teacher and student can both use this tool. Record lessons, directions, explain concepts, record speeches and more!  Students too, can use this tool demonstrate their understanding of topics, record audio for written work, explain conclusions, perform speeches, record interviews. There are endless applications for this.  We have a district license for this so that you have unlimited recording, and an easy to use basic video editor.
