How to Use Chromebooks
BCSD Chromebooks
Our Chromebooks are configured so that only BCSD Staff and Students can use them. Only these users can log onto our district devices using their assigned Google for Education accounts.
Student Log In:
Username: firstname.lastname@barbertonstudents.org
Password: student ID#
Staff and Students should never share their Google passwords.
Please put in a help desk ticket if you cannot log into your Google account.
NOTE:
You can look up a student user name by looking them up in Progress Book or Google Contacts.
New student accounts take 2 days to be generated after they are entered in DASL. You do not have to contact IT for new students, this is an automatic process
Shut Down:
Hover cursor over lower right corner of screen, at pop-up menu, choose Sign Out
Once signed out, wait a few seconds and the log in screen appears
Click Shut Down in the lower left side of the screen
