Eligible Expenses & How to Pay

Eligible expenses:

• Tuition/Fees

• Books

• Educational software (if required by school)

• HESI and NCLEX exam fees (if not included in school’s tuition and fee schedule)

In addition, upon award of the Scholarship, each Awardee will receive a one time payment of $1,000 to be used towards:

• Pins and Patches

• Stethoscope

• Nursing uniforms

• Nursing shoes

• Other miscellaneous school related expenses

Tuition payments 

Reach for the Stars staff will work directly with the universities and colleges third party department to arrange tuition payments.  If your university or college does not have a third party department you can submit your tuition statement for payment using the Tuition Payment Request Form below.  

Note: It is best to do this as soon as you receive your tuition invoice. It can take up to three weeks to process scholarship tuition payments.

Eligible Reimbursement Request

Students will be responsible for submitting receipts for books, educational software or exams fee by using the Reimbursement Request Form below. 

1. Complete the Reimbursement Request Form below.

2. Scan and email the completed Reimbursement Request Form and receipts to nursingstars@baptist-health.org.  Reimbursements will be submitted for direct deposit to your bank account on file through the Baptist Health payroll department.  

*Reimbursement requests can take up to two weeks to process.
