Clever is an service that has your learning apps in one place. To access Clever:
Open Google Chrome on your Chromebook
In the upper-left corner of Chrome, you will see "BPS Managed Bookmarks", click it, then select CLEVER (or click here clever.com/in/bangorps)
Once Clever is open, click the button that says "Log in with your Google username and password"
Next, a window will appear asking you to click your school-issued Google account, click it
Once logged into Clever, click on any of the app icons to use them (for most of the apps listed you can click the "Sign on with Google" button to log into them). For other apps, you will automatically be signed into them.
Students in grades K-2 can now use their Clever Badge to log directly into their Chromebook and Clever simultaneously.
Some students have had trouble logging into Kids A-Z through Clever. Here are some steps that might help. You should only need to follow these steps one time, subsequent logins to Kids A-Z through Clever should automatically log your student into Kids A-Z.
Access the BPS Clever Portal and click the button that says "Log in with your Google username and password".
A window will appear asking your to choose a Google account, click your school-issued Google account.
Once you're logged into Clever, scroll down to the "All Subjects" heading, and click Kids A-Z.
The Kids A-Z login screen will appear, type your Kids A-Z username and your Teacher Username (leave the Kids A-Z Password field empty).
Click Update & Log in; your screen may change to the select teacher class page, then change back to the login page.
The login screen may appear again, but it is on top of the select user page; click your name.
On the next page, click your password picture, this should get you logged in so that you see your activities page.
If your student is having trouble logging into MobyMax through Clever, here are some steps that might help. You should only need to follow these steps one time, subsequent logins to MobyMax through Clever should automatically log your student into MobyMax.
Access the BPS Clever Portal and click the button that says "Log in with your Google username and password".
A window will appear asking your to choose a Google account, click your school-issued Google account.
Once you're logged into Clever, scroll down to the "Mathematics" heading, and click MobyMax.
The MobyMax login screen will appear, click AS A STUDENT at the top of the page.
Click CLEVER at the bottom of the page, you should now be logged into MobyMax.
Your student may be having trouble accessing WritingCity. If so, follow these steps. TEACHERS: Do not create a WritingCity account for your students. Let them log into WritingCity through Clever, using their Google account. Once this happens, WritingCity will create an account for them. Then you can log into WritingCity and add the students to your classes. STUDENTS: You should only need to follow these steps once, subsequent logins to WritingCity through Clever should automatically log you into WritingCity.
Access the BPS Clever Portal and click the button that says "Log in with your Google username and password".
A window will appear asking your to choose a Google account, click your school-issued Google account.
Once you're logged into Clever, scroll down to the "Reading, Writing" heading, and click WritingCity.
The WritingCity login screen will appear, click SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE.
WritingCity should detect your Google account information and automatically log you into WritingCity.
However, if a window pops up asking you to click your school-issued Google account, click it and then you should be logged into WritingCity.
