When you sign up for one of our activity's you agree to our photo declaration which is stated below this is included at the bottom of all signup forms as well as applying to our socials. if you have any concerns or questions regarding this please contact a member of the committee.
"Photographs will be taken on the walk, by members and committee. Many of these photos are then collated onto a Google drive, to be later used by committee in walk advertisements and other public media. By signing up to the walk, you are consenting to your image being potentially used in photos by the club for such purposes. If you do not want to be included in these posted photos, please contact the club."
When you sign up to our activity's we most of the time will ask you to agree to the country side code as we want our activity's to cause as little disruption to the environment and help preserve it for future groups. When you sign up to our activity's we most of the time will ask you to agree to the BMC's acceptance of risk statement as the mountains can be a dangerous place and while we take every realistic step to ensure everyones safety sometimes things happen. "The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions."
When you join us on a club activity weather you are a student or affiliate member you agree to all other the rules and policy's of the university and the students union and university as a whole can take actions if they are broken on club time.
