Hi folks,
On Saturday 27th September we will be running three walks: two mountain walks up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and one lowland walk in Ogwen Valley – See below for full details. We will be travelling by public bus. Please bring your own money for the bus – if you have a MyTravelPass, it will cost £2. The current weather outlook is sunny but cold. Mountain dress code will be strictly enforced. This means walking boots, at least 2L of water, waterproofs, warm layers, gloves, lunch and snacks. You can borrow any kit you need; please put this on the sign-up forms below (along with your size), and we will bring what is requested.
After the walks, we will be meeting for post-walk pints at 6pm at the Castle Inn in Bangor.
If you are interested in how walks like this are planned, feel free to come along to Route Planning at the Student’s Union on Pontio Level 4, from 6pm on Friday.
