Many people opposed the revolutions that Vladimir Lenin led. After the Bolsheviks seized power a various number of posters, like this one, were produced taunting the people of Bolsheviks. This poster illustrates Vladimir Lenin and his followers going to hell and being punished for what they did. The inscriptions at the bottom read "For violence and plunder", "For rhetoric and lies", "For blasphemy/scoffing", "For murder", "For treason against holy Russia". The person who made this poster indicates that the Bolsheviks aren’t good doing people and are trying to harm Russia.

The NEP helped Russia pick up its economy and turn it back into what it was. ”The new economic policy is reduced to certain limits; after a period of partial denationalization a stronger nationalization begins, which nationalizes that which is beneficial to the Soviet state. The critical period has been passed. Socialism is victorious on the entire front” (Preobrazhensky). This quote talks about how the NEP will restore what was lost during the continued involvement Russia had in WWl. During WWI Russia spent their money on the involvement and stopped spending it on crucial parts of the economy. This led to most parts of the economy declining rapidly. The NEP intended to restore land distribution and introduce currency again to help with trade.
