Before the October Revolution of 1917 the provisional government led by Prince Georgy Lvov ruled Russia led to disagreements about land and the economy. The Bolsheviks started a revolution to overthrow their current government and after coming into ruling started establishing many reforms, allowing the economy to thrive again.
