Hello! I am Ms. Sadie Hooker, and I am the Family and Consumer Sciences Educator at the Bangor High School/Middle School! I teach FACE 8, Foods I (Basic Foods), Foods II (Advanced Foods), Foods III (Culinary), Independent Living, Child Development, Housing & Interior Design, and Creative Sewing.
I graduated in December 2021 from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point with a degree in Family & Consumer Sciences Education, minor in Health Education, and certificates in Health Sciences Education and Financial Literacy. In the past, I served as President of the Stevens Point Association of Family and Consumer Sciences, an officer for the Wisconsin Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Student Unit, and the Chair of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Student Unit.
I am originally from Wauzeka, WI, where my family still resides, and I graduated with a class of 17. I am the second oldest with nine siblings that range from ages 28 to 6 years old. I am an auntie of three and sister-in-law to two. I enjoy sewing, crafting, baking, and just about anything else you can think of that relates to my content areas! Other interests include gardening & houseplants, video games, journaling, and travel.
