Setup a MacBook for BHS
1. Find and open the Safari App
2. (If you are viewing this page from the MacBook to be enrolled, tap on the link below
If you are viewing this page on another device, type the URL below into the address bar in Safari
https://ballaraths.jamfcloud.com/enroll
3. Enter the student BHS Username and Password which was sent to the parent email address you provided on the student enrolment form. For students in other year levels - you should already have this information
Example Username: STU0001
Example Password: Terry2005
THIS IS NOT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS - ONLY ENTER YOUR STUDENT CODE
You may be prompted to save the password - choose either option
4. Tap Continue in the next couple of prompts, similar to the ones shown on the Right.Â
These prompts will repeat, a total of twice. "Continue, Allow, Close, Continue, Allow, Close"
5. Now we need to find the 'profiles' section in the Settings App
As the location of this varies depending on the version of the operating system installed on the MacBook, the easiest way is to use this key combination
Command + Space
The Command Key is immediately to the left of the space bar on the laptop
Type profiles into the box that appears, and press Enter
6. A window similar to this will appear
We need to double click on the MDM Profile
7. This window will appear
Click the Install button at the bottom of the window
8. Click allow
9. Enter the password for your MacBook - you MAY be able to use TouchID
The username should already be prefilled - it has been removed from this image for privacy reasons
10. Once the installation has completed the profiles window should look like this - it may take a few minutes
11. Your MacBook is now connection to Ballarat High Schools Management System and will have WiFi connectivity when you are at school
