We believe that children cannot reach their learning potential if they are absent from school. Therefore, we aim to ensure that all our children take full advantage of the educational opportunities available to them and to raise standards by promoting regular attendance and punctuality of the children in Baldwins Gate C of E (VC) Primary School. 

We are committed to providing an education of the highest quality for all our children. We believe that high attainment depends on good attendance.

How to report an Absense

If your child is ill or unable to attend school, please call the school office to report their absence by 9:00am on each day of absence. Please provide details of the reason for their absence and, where possible, when you expect them to return to school.

Holiday Requests during term time

Parents who want the school to consider granting leave of absence in school term time should complete the holiday request form that can be found in the following section of our website:
