Citefast.com is a citation generator. It is a simple, free, no frills program to help you cite your sources properly.
1. Create an account (if you do, Citefast will save your list of citations.) NOTE: When creating your account, use your personal email address, not your school one (so that if you forget your username and password they will send it to your personal account).
2. Go to "3. View Citations." In the top right hand corner of that box, there is a box "+ Add new bibliography." Click on that box to start a new bibliography list. (You will be able to name the list.)
3. Click on the MLA tab (or whatever format you choose) and choose the correct type of source (book, magazine, etc.) before you start.
4. Fill in any empty fields if you can. "Save" citation. The citation will be added to your list! You can even add an annotation to your citation.
5. To export your list, click on the "copy/paste" button, and paste into your document. NOTE: You might have to edit for spacing according to your teacher's or National History Day requirements.
