Student Accounts
Students are responsible for textbooks and library books once they sign out for them. Any overdue library books and textbooks must be returned to the library. All obligations must be satisfied in order to participate in major school events (banquets, proms, graduation ceremony, etc).
Students can check their own accounts by logging into: https://library.k12.hi.us:8070/#section=myaccount
1. Library Card Number: Student's 10 digit ID number
2. PIN or EZ Password: month & day of birth (4 digits). For example, 0101 for someone born January 1st.
Teachers:
1. User ID/Library Card Number: your Employee ID number (8 digits)
2. PIN or EZ Password: the last four digits of Employee ID number
To find a Library Book on our online system, LS2, click on this link:
Students:
1. Click on "Advanced Search." The default is to search for 237 schools -- you don't want that. Click on "change" then when the options box pops up, check off the box next to "Baldwin HS"
2. Enter your search term (topic, title or author)
3. Write down or take a picture of the shelf location and book title. Also, check to see whether or not the book is shown in green as "Available."
4. Come to the Library, show the Librarian your shelf location and go pick up your book for checkout!

EBSCO's NOVELIST PLUS: BHS subscription database that helps readers find books/genres/authors that are interesting to each individual.
1. Username: baldwin
2. Password: bears!2021
3. Click on "Novelist" icon
or
Goodreads.com: Similar to Novelist Plus, but a free to use on the internet. You can sign up for a free account.
