Common Application – Forms can be completed and submitted online at  www.commonapp.org   Essay topics available to prepare for future applications.  *Check to see if the school you want to apply to is on the Common App list.  **See Mr. Yamaguchi for information about submitting transcript requests.

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) – this program is coordinated by the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE).  Through WUE “woowie”, students in Western states may enroll in participating two-year and four-year public college and university programs at a reduced tuition: up to 150 percent of the regular resident tuition.  In all cases WUE tuition is considerably less than nonresident tuition. NCAA Eligibility – student athletes interested in participating in NCAA Div.1 or 2 athletics need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center.  For more information and to register go to: www.eligibilitycenter.org   

NCAA Eligibility Center code: 9999.  *Fee waivers are available for students on free or reduced lunch.  Ask your counselor for more information. *Be sure to check with each individual school’s website for their Athletic Questionnaire. 

FAFSA - December the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opens up.  Seniors who are planning to attend college should fill out this application.  Applications can be filled out online at https://studentaid.gov/fafsa  You and a parent must first create an FSA ID, which can be done online at https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id

Wailuku Federal Credit Union Scholarship Program- (5) $2,000 scholarships available to students who will be or are currently attending a fully accredited university, college or trade/vocational school in the upcoming school year.  Must be a member of Wailuku FCU for at least 3 months prior to the application deadline.  Must complete a minimum of 20 hours of community service within 12 months prior to the application deadline.
