ATRIUM HEALTH HOSPITAL FIELD TRIP
ATRIUM HEALTH HOSPITAL FIELD TRIP
The field trip to the Atrium Health Hospital was useful for several reasons. Firstly, it gave students a unique opportunity to observe medical professionals at work and better understand how hospitals operate. They could see firsthand the various departments, medical equipment, and technology used in patient care. Additionally, the trip allowed students to interact with healthcare professionals and ask questions about their jobs and the medical field. This allowed them to learn more about potential careers in healthcare and gain insight into the education and training required. Overall, the field trip was a valuable experience that broadened students' knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry.
The students participating in the Work-Based Learning program had the opportunity to gain practical experience in various departments of the Atrium Health Hospital. Using life-like mannequins, the students were able to get a feel for what it would be like to work in their chosen fields, which helped to elevate their interest and understanding of their future professions.
What a wonderful day it has been! Baldwin College & Career Academy has successfully organized its inaugural Workforce Summit, and I must say that I am quite tired, but my excitement remains unchanged. Baldwin is making significant progress towards its goals, and these young people have also contributed to the success of this event!
