I believe that healing is a collaborative process that requires accepting clients as they are and providing space to allow for the discovery of hidden potential. I uses motivational interviewing and strengths-based approaches to help identify goals so that she can collaboratively work with each unique client to reach their goals with grace.
I draw from multiple methodologies to provide an eclectic approach to enrichen therapy and provide the best fit for individuals and their unique concerns. There is not a one size fits all solution for any given issue, but through a creative and exploratory lens, I helps her clients use self-determination to guide their therapeutic process.
As a therapist, I am energetic, upbeat, compassionate, encouraging, down-to-earth, and direct (when appropriate). I aim to combine experience, education, and creativity while maintaining a realistic approach to addressing concerns.
I have extensive experience and expertise working with trauma, LBGTQ+ community members, anxiety, depression, conduct, oppositional defiance in adolescents, spirituality, mindfulness, motivation, and self-esteem.
