BECOMING-a-BADGER is an after school event designed to expose current 8th graders (incoming freshman) to the many course offerings provided at Badger High School. The event is open to all students in 8th grade that are considering Badger High School for their freshman year and beyond.

TIMELINE OF THE DAY(S)
As soon as possible: Arrive at Badger in the Union (Main Entrance)
3:00PM: Meet with Badger staff and enjoy a light snack in "The Union"
3:20PM: Badger administrators will walk you to your appropriate classroom(s)
3:20PM - 4:30PM: Participate in your class
4:30PM: Released from class so you can either get on a bus or get picked up by a parent / guardian
SUPPLIES / MATERIALS NEEDED

Most of the BECOMING-a-BADGER courses do not require any additional materials, supplies, or fees. However, there is a chance that some courses may require the student to bring or provide some sort of supplies. In the event additional supplies are needed the student and his or her parent or guardian will be given the list of materials well in advance; in addition the materials will be listed in the course description(s).
TRANSPORTATION
TRANSPORTATION
Parents / guardians of participating students are responsible for transportation TO Badger after the school day is over at the student's respective schools. After the event is over Badger can provide bussing via our "Sports and Activities" bus at 4:30PM if you live within the Lake Geneva school district. Parents / guardians are always welcome to pick their child up at the school by 4:30PM. Drop off and pick up should occur at door A at the Main Entrance off of E South Street.
