Thank you for attending the Bridge2AI Leads meeting in Virginia. Our time together is brief. Please review the action items below to prepare for the upcoming in-person meeting on April 17 through April 19. Items listed as “essential” will be an important part of the agenda. Items listed as “reference” are listed for your convenience.

Essential - Please complete the below list of action items as soon as possible

• All: Register for this meeting at b2ai.org/f2f-registration. If you do not register for this meeting, we will not be able to communicate important meeting information to you. You must register using the link even if you have already given your name to Katie as an attendee.

• All: Submit your questions for the NIH ICD Director co-chairs. These questions will be shared with NIH before the meeting and will be asked by the session moderator during the facilitated discussion at the end of Day 1. You can submit questions by deadline (including on the day of the session).

• All: Do you have an idea for a conference or other opportunity for Bridge2AI members to present consortial work? Add it to this list.

• All: Do you have any information about your Core or DGP that should be communicated to the entire Consortium? Please let us know so we can update the Consortium intranet. 

• All: Sign up to meet with the AIM-AHEAD experts. Attendance is limited. 

• DGP PIs: Prepare a 10 min (max - no slides) speech describing your vision of success. What do you hope AI in their domain will look like in 4 years? This speech will be given on the morning of Day 1, after NIH speaks and before we start work. 

• Hot Topic Owners: Prepare a 1 min pitch for your topic. This pitch needs to introduce your idea to the group and convince them to join your discussion. Teaming Core will be in touch to help you craft your session to achieve your desired outcomes in the time allotted. Your written pitch and anticipated outcomes will be shared with meeting attendees beforehand.

• Working Group Leads: Prepare four Google slides with the following information about your WG. The slide decks for you to use are here. Feel free to customize your title slide or the slide formatting. You will need these slides for session 15.

• Working Group Leads: Prepare an agenda for internal WG discussions for Day 1 Session 7 (1.5 hrs) and for Day 2 Session 15 Part 1 (1 hr). An example agenda for session 7 is available here. Please post your link to a google doc for your discussion agendas/not-taking space to the Draft Agenda here (in Session 7).
