Like teachers in other content areas, Science teachers don't consider their students as learners if they are simply "looking up" the answers to what they are asked in class. Though there is a role for inquiry learning, science teachers in a 1:1 Chromebook environment often enjoy leveraging the Locked Quiz feature of Google Forms.
Once a Science department gets their questions into a Google Form, they can use the files together as a question bank. This makes Google Forms a powerful tool for the blended science classroom - not just for teaching, but for professional collaboration!

From resource links to interactive lessons - experience core content learning resources for your K-12 students.
Available through the University of Colorado Boulder’s website, PHET sims are visual and interactive ways to learn about and experiment with dynamic systems, such as electrical circuits and light refraction. Some teachers assign sims as homework, some use them in demonstrations. Many use them in small group projects.
