Hi,

Some of you remember me from when I was teaching math. I am Mrs. Taylor. My position with the school is Instructional Technology Coach which is really just the official way to say I am helping teachers learn ways to use technology in the classroom.

I want to help you to. This website will be dedicated to giving you resources to use your technology to its fullest. Remember just because I tell you it is possible doesn't mean your teacher wants you to do it that way. Your teachers instructions trump mine but you can always make polite suggestions if you know another way.

At the bottom of the page you will find a couple links, one of them is to suggest new topics or items you need help with (or you know your friends need help with). Help me make this site just what you need.

There is also a link to report abuse of technology. This form does not collect your email address so it is anonymous as it can be on school computer. This will help us keep our devices, filters and programs as open and useful as possible.

Janice Hornsby

Technology Director

Mrs. Hornsby is the boss and is the reason we have all of these nice things. She has the final say over what we can do and not do but really she wants us to do anything that is academically helpful.

If she can make it work and figure out how to pay for it she will do it.

Eric Montgomery

Computer Tech

Eric fixes all of our hardware and your Chromebook when you break it. He puts up all of the hardware for our Wi-Fi, Projectors, Cameras, and more. Really he is a great person to have on your side when things break.

He is also the person that will catch you when you are inappropriately using your device. Don't do anything to make him catch you or you will get his grumpy side.

Cathryne Nivin

Digital Media Specialist

Mrs. Nivin might be our Librarian but she helps a lot with technology and is responsible for all of your AR accounts, e-books and other things that us "experienced" people had to go to the library for when we were in school.

She can help you find digital resources for research papers and projects. While she is generally at the elementary school, she can help here too.

Talk to your teacher, if it is a common problem they might know the answer.

Sorry, we can't help fix personal devices 😢

We replaced all of our Chromebooks in the Summer of 2020. We want to keep them nice and working well, we cannot get new ones for quite a while.

You have an assigned Chromebook that will be yours until graduation and you will be responsible for damage to that Chromebook. These Chromebooks do not go home. We have some available to check out if you need one at home.

Be sure to let us know if something isn't working correctly as soon as it happens.
