Welcome

I am Ms. Edwards and I am the Early Childhood Resource Teacher at AV-W. I taught Kindergarten at AV-W for 3 years, and was a Resource Teacher the following 6 years. This year I will be one of the 4K teachers, as well as the Early Childhood Special Education teacher!

I moved up to Minocqua in 2015 which was an easy transition since I grew up in Rhinelander.

Fun fact about me.... My grandma was an AV-W musky a long long time a go! So while I grew up a Hodag, I have Musky in my heart!

I went to school at University of Wisconsin Whitewater where I double majored in Early Childhood Education and Special Education.

I completed my Masters in Literacy at the University of Wisconsin: Oshkosh in the fall of 2022!

When I'm not at school...

I love exploring!

I love being on the water - fishing, skiing, swimming, and boating.

I enjoy being outside - running, hiking, golfing, and having bon fires with friends

I have a Bernedoodle named Tito who is my life and loves to run with me.

I lived in Cuenca Ecuador and worked at a bilingual school there for 3 months.

I enjoy traveling to new places whenever I can.

Swimming is a passion of mine and I started as a coach for Lakeland Swim Club in 2018.

I began coaching the Lakeland Union Highschool Girl's Swim Team in the fall of 2023!
