     We are looking forward to a great year, with students in classes and ready to learn every day!  We have learned that students who miss even a few days of school each month are at far greater risk of academic failure.  We have set a goal that every student in our school attends regularly, which is no more than one absence a month (or nine days or less in a year.) 

     Attending school is so important, please send your child to school every day unless he or she has a contagious illness or is running a fever.  If you need to excuse an absence, please feel free to contact the school at (760) 961-8479 and select option 2 for Ms. Ashley in attendance, or use Parent Square.  We will be happy to work with you to help your child attend regularly and have greater opportunities for success!  Remember, students need to be in their seats by 8:10 a.m!
