Status report

Our seniors on Saturday February, 24 at the Apple Valley High School color run! All the seniors have been working on their senior projects and these 3 groups displayed their projects on this day.

Our project was about heart disease and stroke. At the color run, we handed out brochures and spoke to people about heart disease and stroke. We chose to do it at the color run because exercise can lower your risk for heart disease and stroke.

Our community awareness project was on MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident). DON'T TEXT AND DRIVE!

Their Projects were on top Public Health Issues that are affecting the US according to the CDC.

Below: Our project was about Foodborne Illnesses! We presented to one of our own HOSA freshman classes. We taught them the importance of being safe and sanitary with foods. Always make sure your food is properly cooked!!!

Left: this is Sydney, Julia and Kevin. We spoke about Prescription Overdose. We stressed the importance of the recent epidemic that is facing this nation.

Our names are Uriah Dominguez and Alexandria Malan, our senior project was aimed at informing freshman of the risks that come with the consumption of alcohol. We want to promote healthy living and safe fun! #Don'tDrink&Drive

Juniors 2018

The juniors have been working hard and have just finished their project for 11th grade. It's called History's Apprentice.

They focused on job seeking skills and interviewing strengths. They all had to apply and be interviewed by the community. We finished the day with a business etiquette lesson with food from the Devils Den.
