For all absences parents/guardians should call extension 73906 or send in a note with the following student information: date, reason, signed by parent/guardian with a working phone number. 

Parents or doctor's office may fax notes at 760-961-8755 --Attention attendance.

For off grounds passes call extension 73906. A signed note is preferred. The time frame to get the student is 45 minutes. In an emergency situation please call security at extension 73925.

Parents can watch their student's attendance by signing in Aeries Parent Portal. Students may come in any time to get a printout or correction sheet of their attendance. Parents may also email dena_leftwich@avusd.org
