Current screening guidelines for AVUSD

If you have any of the following COVID symptoms: DO NOT COME TO SCHOOL  Fever or Chills Cough Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing Fatigue Muscle or body aches Headache New loss of taste or smell Sore throat Congestion or runny nose Nausea or vomiting Diarrhea If you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 with or without symptoms: DO NOT COME TO SCHOOL  If you have tested positive for COVID- 19 with or without symptoms: DO NOT COME TO SCHOOL Testing for those who are symptomatic is strongly encouraged. Sick but not COVID? Please get a doctor’s note and be symptom free for 24 hours.   If your student has a chronic medical condition that mimics COVID-19 symptoms, please provide the teacher with a note from the doctor indicating this. 10-14 days, must meet all criteria

Parking

Students- Please park in the Home Side Stadium parking lot or the B lot under the solar panels. Display your parking permit on your rearview mirror. If you do not have one, please obtain one in A6. It is mandatory!

We do ask that you please not use the front parking lot for student drop-off or pick-up unless your student is in one of the self-contained special education programs.

AVHS ASB is looking for energetic, socially conscious, spirited leaders to take our Sundevil Pride to the next level for 2021-22 school year! Interested 9-11 grade students need to have a 2.5 as of 3 quarter 2021, no discipline issues and 90% engagement. Applications are available on avhs.net and your google classrooms. Help be the change you want to see in the world! Applications are due to stephen_collins@avusd.org no later than 3:00PM April 9, 2021

Apple Valley High School (AVHS) is a comprehensive public four-year high school located in Apple Valley, California. AVHS offers a rich academic program at all levels including Advanced Placement\Honors course offerings and remedial or special needs learning environments. AVHS has an extensive Career Technical Department and a vibrant Visual and Performing Arts Department. AVHS also boasts a multitude of extracurricular and afterschool programs. Tech Help

To log in to a chromebook, the student needs a username and password.

Their username is their first initial of their first name, last name, and the last four numbers of their perm ID @avusd.org, (Flast1234@avusd.org).

Any teacher can reset the student's password. Email them, and they can help.

If that doesn't work, contact Cheryl Delahousie at AVHS. Email her at cheryl_delahousie@avusd.org, and she will help. If email is not an option, you can call 760-247-7206 x 71917



Attendance Office

To contact us in order to clear an absence please call 760-247-7206 ext 412. You may also email your information to rosemary_lozada@avusd.org. Please include your name, student’s name, date of absence and reason for absence.

There are unsanctioned third party applications that work once parents provide login data. AVUSD cannot verify the security or accuracy of any third party applications.
