9th Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner

Join us for the 9th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner at Robles Elementary School on November 24, 2022. Reservations are required. Anyone in the community is welcome to attend. This is a FREE meal consisting of the usual Thanksgiving menu items: turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cranberry sauce, Tea/Water/Coffee, and pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

Reservations need to be made with Patzi Hughes by November 11, 2022. Contact Patzi at Serenity Baptist Church, M-F, 9 AM-1PM at 520-822-2026.

Robles Elementary All-Star Student of the Month

Eden C. - 2nd Grade

Eden is such a great student and child. She comes into our reading lab and always does what is expected of her and more. During our small group reading lessons, Eden always participates and tries her best to complete the tasks. Eden is responsible and has a very strong work ethic for a child of her age. Eden is also kind, respectful, and pleasant. She is warm and patient with her friends, she's a great model student when it comes to classroom etiquette and always can be trusted to do the right thing. I am so happy that I get to spend this year with Eden and see the amazing things she will accomplish this school year!

Robles Elementary All-Star Staff of the Month

Anna Rivera, Paraprofessional

Mrs. Rivera is such a great person, teacher, and friend. She radiates positivity, and she always puts her heart into the many projects she has going on throughout her day and week. Mrs. Rivera is extremely passionate about her job, her actions, and especially with her students. Children from all grade levels come to greet her, hug her, and show how much they love her. Mrs. Rivera is never afraid to complete a new task, support her colleagues, or take on another project. She takes time to read to children during recess, and it is so special to see the bigger kids in third grade stop playing to enjoy a story with Mrs. Rivera under the shade of the tree in front of the library. Mrs. Rivera has made students at Robles excited about the pep squad, and the children really love staying and participating in cheer after school. Mrs. Rivera supports preschool, and all other grade levels during reteach and enrichment. She also fills in as a guest teacher when the needs are there, as well as juggling her library duties and other jobs at the same time. Mrs. Rivera does it all, and we are so lucky to have her working alongside us. Thank you, Mrs. Rivera, for not only working with children, but for truly loving your students and showing it in all the extra duties and actions you do everyday at Robles.

Altar Valley Middle School All-Star Student of the Month

Camryn R. - 8th Grade

We have nominated Cam for student of the month as she has really come out of her shell this year! So far this year Camryn has been part of the 'A' Volleyball team, has signed up for 2nd Quarter Sports and is also on Student Council. Camryn was very nervous to tackle morning announcements, but after the nerves were gone she spoke clearly and confidently. Her leadership, positive attitude, and confidence she has shown so far this year is something for younger students to look up to. Congratulations Camryn and keep up the good work!

Altar Valley Middle School All-Star Staff of the Month

Kim Kuckenbaker, Administrative Assistant

We have nominated Kim for staff of the month as she has come in and tackled all tasks thrown at her with a smile on her face and eager to learn more. If she ever is unsure how to help she will investigate and make sure that all issues are resolved. She has dealt with the busy schedule and duties of school secretary with professionalism and represents what it is to be a SOARING Eagle. Thank you for all that you do!
