End-of-Year Highlights from Altar Valley Middle School
Dear Families and Community Members,
As we head into the final stretch of the school year, it’s hard to believe how quickly the time has gone. May is always filled with celebration, reflection, and a bit of excitement as we prepare for summer—and this year is no exception.
We are especially proud of our 8th-grade students as they prepare to take their next steps into high school. We have several important events to honor their accomplishments:
May 14: 8th Grade Grad Walk at Robles Elementary
May 16–18: 8th Grade Trip to California
May 19: 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony at 6:00 PM in the Altar Valley Middle School Gym
The 8th-grade trip is a highlight for many of our students, and it would not be possible without the generosity and support of our community. A sincere thank you to Friends of Robles Ranch and Double E Feed & Supply Store for their donations and fundraising efforts. Your investment in our students creates lasting memories and meaningful experiences.
As we celebrate these milestones, we also want to recognize the collective effort it takes to make a successful school year. Our students have worked hard, our staff have remained committed, and our families have continued to support learning every step of the way.
On a personal note, this month also marks the completion of my first year as principal of Altar Valley Middle School. It has been a privilege to serve this community. I’ve had the opportunity to see firsthand the dedication of our staff, the resilience of our students, and the strong sense of pride that defines Altar Valley Middle School and the Three Points & Robles Ranch Communities. Thank you for the warm welcome, your trust, and your partnership throughout the year.
As we head into summer, I encourage all students to continue reading, stay active, and spend quality time with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another great year.
Wishing you all a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer.
Sincerely,
Principal Valdez
