Bobcats Finish Strong! End-of-Year News and Celebrations
Dear Robles Bobcat Families,
As we enter the final month of the school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and partnership. It has been an incredible year of growth, and we are so proud of the hard work our students and staff have shown.
Even as we approach the end of the year, learning is still going strong in every classroom. Our teachers continue to provide meaningful instruction, and students are actively building important skills each day. Because of this, daily attendance remains critically important. Every day of instruction counts, and being present helps ensure that students stay on track and finish the year successfully.
As a reminder, since teaching and learning are still taking place daily, we ask that toys remain at home. We have recently seen an increase in toys being brought to school, which can be distracting and may interfere with the learning environment. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a focused and safe school setting. We are also excited to begin preparing for one of our favorite end-of-year events—Field Day! This is a PBIS celebration for our students. Please note that students with discipline referrals or outstanding fees will not be eligible to participate. A flyer with additional details will be coming home soon, so please keep an eye out.
Let’s continue to work together to finish the year strong. Encouraging your child to stay engaged, attend school regularly, and give their best effort each day makes a tremendous difference.
Upcoming May Events:
May 8: 5th Grade Field Trip to Altar Valley Middle School
May 18: Senior Graduation Walk at Robles – 1:30 PM
May 18: 5th Grade Promotion – 2:45 PM
May 19: Kindergarten Promotion – 9:00 AM
May 19: Pre-K Promotion – 10:00 AM
May 20: Last Day of School
Additionally, Summer STEM Camp registration packets have been sent home. If you have not yet reviewed one or need another copy, please contact your child’s teacher and we will be happy to send one home again. This is a great opportunity for students to continue learning and exploring over the summer.
Thank you again for being such an important part of our Robles community. We look forward to a strong and successful finish to the school year!
Sincerely,
Dustie Gunn

🎓 Senior Grad Walk at Robles Elementary 🎓
Calling all former Altar Valley students…we want to celebrate YOU!
If you are graduating this May, we invite you to come back home to Robles Elementary for our special Senior Grad Walk. Walk the halls where your journey began, reconnect with your roots, and inspire our current Bobcats as they see what their future can become!
This heartwarming tradition is one of our favorites, as we cheer you on and celebrate all of your hard work, accomplishments, and bright futures ahead. Once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat! 🐾
If you would like to participate, please contact the Robles front office at 520-822-9418 by May 10th to sign up.
We can’t wait to welcome you back and celebrate this incredible milestone with you! 💙
✨ Student Council 2025–2026 ✨
Robles Elementary Student Council has had a very fun and productive school year!
Student council members did a great job with their campaigns and their peers were very impressed with their creativity. From there, those running for specific positions were able to give virtual speeches and students were able to vote for who they thought would serve them best. Once the election was over, student council representatives were chosen by their interest and answers on their student council applications. The official team was put into place and, since then, they have done a phenomenal job of serving their school.
This year, the Student Council stepped up and encouraged their peers to really participate in Red Ribbon Week. The Student Council members created posters to encourage everyone to live a drug-free life and really got into the spirit of the dress-up week!
Our fifth grade Student Council members also stepped up to provide support for the Bobcats of Excellence Assemblies. During the assemblies, the students would help greet the families, guide them to their seats, help hand out certificates, and guide students to where they should stand on the stage.
The Student Council firmly believes in the importance of being a “Be Kind” campus, so an act of kindness was planned and implemented by them. After our winter break, the Student Council members worried that their peers may need a boost, so they created kindness notes and passed them out as students arrived at school one morning.
The Student Council members also helped run the fundraiser for yearbooks as they believe it is important for every student to receive a yearbook!
Towards the Spring, our oldest Student Council members had the opportunity to help with two big events that Robles Elementary holds yearly. Half of the fifth grade Student Council members helped with Autism Awareness Run and the other half helped with the preschool carnival. The students who helped with the Autism Awareness run made sure to give out water, helped guide students around the course, and cheered on all students who participated. Those who helped with the preschool carnival helped run the circus games, learned how to make balloon animals, and spent time playing with some of our smallest bobcats!
While they aren’t quite done yet, the Student Council is ready for any new adventure that comes their way!✨🐾
With Gratitude: Celebrating Ms. Audrey’s Incredible Journey
We are proud to celebrate Ms. Audrey and her incredible 19 years of dedicated service with Altar Valley. Throughout her time, she has made a lasting impact on countless students, always greeting them with a warm smile and a caring heart.
Ms. Audrey began her journey as a preschool paraprofessional, where she supported our youngest learners with patience and kindness. She also played an important role in supporting students with exceptional needs, ensuring that every child felt valued, safe, and supported. Most recently, she has served as the health clerk at Robles, where she has cared for students daily—whether tending to injuries, comforting those who were sick, or simply offering reassurance when it was needed most.
Her compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to students have made her a truly special part of our school community. Ms. Audrey has been someone our students could count on, and her presence will be deeply missed.
We thank her for her many years of hard work and service, and we celebrate her as she begins this exciting new chapter in her life. Congratulations on your retirement, Ms. Audrey—you have truly made a difference!
