Tessla V. - 1st Grade
Tessla is always so kind to her classmates. She is the first to volunteer when they need help. She will offer assistance to anyone around her. She cleans up after herself and turns in all of her work on time.. She is the first student in my classroom to receive a bobcat buck for these reasons! When a new student comes to class, I know I can sit them by Tessla as she will be friendly and give them guidance and support to learn the procedures. Tesla sets a great example of ROAR for our Bobcats!
Robles Elementary All-Star Staff of the Month
Elizabeth "Lizzy" Cranford, Reading Interventionist
Lizzy is just an amazing, loving, and caring person! She is always willing to help any staff member. Lizzy loves the children she works with and all students admire her! She is always walking down the halls with a smile and warm good mornings every day! She has really been supportive for the new teachers! Her heart is in kindergarten but she is rocking and rolling as reading interventionist, because she knows how to support our students in learning to read. Robles is above lucky to have her on our team! While running reading lab and assisting with SIPPS, she has offered so much support for all the staff while navigating through SIPPS. Her positive attitude shines brightly throughout the school. She can brighten anyone's day with just a smile! Mrs. Cranford is such a sweet soul.I love watching her with her students. She has a genuine love for children and for her job which shines through in her positive attitude. She is able to bring students or staff up if they are having a hard time because she is such a kind soul. She works before school teaching dance. She has an energy and passion that is contagious. She is the facilitator for the Child Study team this year, providing so much support to teachers in that role. Additionally, she is on the leadership team for Robles as she really wants to ensure that Robles is a place where all students and staff feel welcomed and successful. It is for these reasons and so many others that she is the Robles Staff of the month.
Altar Valley Middle School All-Star Student of the Month
Emilio C. - 7th Grade
AVMS Student of the month goes to an outstanding 7th grader, Emilio. Emilio has all the qualities that we expect in our students for SOAR (Safe Behavior, Open-Minded, Accountable, Respectful) but he has an additional SOAR that makes him shine.
S - Smile. Emilio greets everyone with the most sincere smile.
O - Open-Hearted. From academics to sports, Emilio always puts his heart and soul into whatever tasks given to him.
A - All-Around Affable classroom community member: Emilio is friendly to all and daily earns the respect of those around him.
R - Reliable to make the right choices with his razor-sharp wit.
