Laura Warner

8th Grade Math
Laura Warner is the 8th grade math teacher extraordinaire. She goes ABOVE and BEYOND for her students, working diligently on establishing not only an excellent math foundation, but also a personal relationship with each of her students both in and out of the classroom. She is genuinely interested in their everyday lives, often gives up her lunch to play with them at recess, and makes sure each of them know they are loved and cared for. She volunteers to head up meetings, takes great notes, and follows up with emails. She offers to help her team all the time, if we need copies of anything to make our lives easier, she is the first one to offer to make them for us, whether it is schedules, signs for testing or anything else we may need. She is one of the first teachers to arrive on campus each day and often one of the last to leave. She is the definition of dedicated to her team and our students.

Not only throughout this month, but the entirety of the school year, Conrad has displayed his willingness to learn and progress as an AVMS Eagle. Conrad takes initiative and completes all of his schoolwork on time, never misses class and participates in all class discussions. Despite the additional challenges that remote students currently face, Conrad expresses his sense of humor regularly and exceeds academic expectations. We, as a 7th Grade Team, are happy to have Conrad in our classes and are proud to announce him as AVMS’s All-Star of the month!

Sydney Madrid, better known as Coach Madrid is our All-Star of the Month! Coach Madrid began working at Robles this year and has created a P.E program for Robles that inspires students to learn new skills while understanding the importance of good sportsmanship. Students are taught the fundamental skills of many games and learn how to improve themselves while working together in a team setting. Coach Madrid is a perfect example of a thoughtful team member as she steps in and helps out our school any time there is a need. Students thoroughly enjoy attending her class and staff members look up to her for her positive energy and friendly attitude. Robles is a better place because of Coach Madrid. Thank you for joining our Bobcat team, Coach Madrid!

Zoii is an amazing student! Though she is new to us this school year, Zoii has made friendships and become a vital part of our classroom. She works hard in everything to improve herself as a person and a learner. We celebrate Zoii's hard work, determination, and above all her kindness.
