Be sure to check out important updates from all of the teachers, student shout outs, and pictures of some of the great things happening in our GOLD classes.

English - Mr. Ragis

What's going on this week:

This week, students began working on their Mars mini projects; students are basically creating an ad for space travel to Mars!  Additionally, students had time to complete missing work and work with the IXL program.  Next week, we will continue reading a variety of reading articles and learn about requirements for part 2 of our mini project.  There are only 2 weeks of school left for students, so please encourage your child to stay up on assignments!  At this time, there are still many students that have missing assignments.  As always, assignments are available in class for make-up, and they are also posted in Google Classroom.

Advanced English - Mrs. Nofs

Week of 5/20 - 5/23

This week, we will start the week with our first peer edit of our literary essays. We will also correct the pronoun study guide thst students were assigned last week.  The week will end on Thursday with a unit test on pronouns.  As we near the end of the school year, students need to be up-to-date on their independent reading, so their summative grade can be what they want it to be.

Happy Memorial weekend!
