It is imperative that before you ask to make your first design you watch this video and access some of the additional resources below to make sure you understand how to use the machine. The Cameo can ONLY be used with Ms. Ritacco's permission and supervision.
Use the Cameo to design, print, and cut images, words, or logos for your team, club, association, or fundraiser. Students can bring their own tshirts, hats, pants, sweats, or more to decorate how they want!

Access the Silhouette software on the Makerspace computer
2. Click the plus button for a new design page
3. Add existing designs from the library or create your own using the buttons on the side bar
4. Images found online must be copyright free and sent through this background remover.
5. Flip Images and text horizontally by using the right click button (it must be backwards!)
6. Place the heat transfer vinyl onto the cutting mat shiny side down and load it into the cameo.
7. Click the send button and make sure the settings are correct according to the chart below.
8. Remove the excess vinyl from the design and place it shiny side up on your t-shirt in the press.
