Program Overview
The AHS Achieve Internship Program offers rising juniors and seniors access to career related experiences and opportunities outside the classroom in professional settings. Internships allow students the opportunity to spark curiosity, develop skills, and gain insight towards potential career fields and pathways. Interns are matched with local businesses during the academic year, or summer months. The course consists of 60 (unpaid) hours and accompanying assignments, such as, defining learning objectives, maintaining reflective journals, and creating a poster for the school community. Credit will be awarded on a pass/fail basis up to 1.0 credit and is not calculated in the weighted GPA.
