The United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was created to help implement workplace safety standards to prevent worker injuries. OSHA developed the OSHA 10 hour and safety program to improve worker safety in the construction field as well as general industries.

Taking the OSHA 10 hour training course, sometimes referred to as OSHA 10 certification, covers the most important and dangerous conditions for a particular job situation. There are various dangers in any job site and workers need to know the correct way to do their job and prevent injuries.

The 10 hr course will be given by Mr. Dobis in Room 534 in two five hour sessions, one during the January regents break and the other during the June regents break.
