Name: Ms. Ajah Yee

Biography: Hi AGLA community! My name is Ms. Ajah Yee, I go by the pronouns she/her, and I am your English Tutor. I earned my bachelors degree from San Jose State University in English Literature Studies with a minor in Journalism. Soon after, I earned my masters degree from University of Southern California in Journalism. I am currently attending Brandman University for my teaching credential to teach English Language Arts. I have tutored and subbed various grades from elementary to college students. I enjoy getting to know all of my students and their ELA needs, and I'm happy to be of assistance!

Fun Fact: I am an Aveson Alum! I attended Aveson the first year the school opened during my 6th grade year and continued through 8th grade. #purpleorangegreen

Interests: Reading, writing, cooking, eating, staying active, listening to music, trying new foods, going to the movies.

Marvel or DC Universe? I love both universes, but I definitely prefer Marvel. My favorite character is Deadpool because I love his humor!

Book I'm currently reading: The Deep by Rivers Solomon. This Sci-Fi/Fantasy novel takes a unique perspective of the historical slave trade.
