We will inform you of Advisor assignments the week before school starts. You will receive Back To School information from Executive Directors and Advisors.
No, students will not be logged onto computers all day. State requirements are that students have daily live opportunities to interact with their teacher and peers. That synchronous logged on time combined with other on-line and off-line assignments all must combine to the equivalent of a minimum school day.
Advisors will keep a daily & weekly record of student participation. If students are not participating and not submitting work then we will work with your family to help your student reengage with distance learning.
Yes. Advisors are setting up the schedule to allow for more small group drop-in and reteaching time.
We will assess students remotely in English Language Arts and Mathematics to determine which students will receive additional support during Distance Learning.
Synchronous time with Advisors and students will include time for connecting remotely and establishing/maintaining relationships during digital learning.
