I wanted to take the opportunity to share a little bit about myself with all of you. Here are some fun facts:
-- I am a product of Catholic Education, as I attended St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin School in Whitehall, Seton-La Salle High School, John Carroll University (B.A.), and Duquesne University (MSEd.).
-- l taught at St. Thomas More School from 2009-2020 before beginning my time at AMA. I've also taught at Benedictine High School (Cleveland, OH), Mentor High School (Mentor, OH), and Shaler Area High School.
-- It wasn't until college that I decided to become a Spanish teacher. I had an amazing Spanish professor my first year in college who made class fun and engaging, and at that point, I knew that was what I wanted to do!
-- I'm certified to teach Spanish K-12, ESL, and Language Arts Grades 7-9.
-- I am an assistant coach for the cross country and track & field teams, so you may see me out running with the kids at practice.
-- I don't get to play too much anymore, but I started playing the saxophone when I was in 4th grade, and playing in the band was one of my favorite activities in school.
I'm looking forward to working with all of you this year at both the Bethel Park and Mt. Lebanon campuses!
