Students have a wide array of resources available to them on this campus to help them meet their academic goals. You have instructors, tutors, librarians, learning specialists, and counselors among others. In all of those roles, a primary objective is to help students be successful. In addition, the college also has resources to help your navigate challenges you might face outside of the classroom not directly related to your studies. Below is a listing of some of those resources. If you are not sure what you need, please contact me, and I will try to point you in the right direction.
My Role:
As your instructor, I am committed to helping my students be successful in this course. I should be your first point of contact for any help you need in the course, so feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about the class. I will always be available during office hours and will respond promptly to your emails.

Throughout the semester, the Writing Specialist conducts workshops on writing essays and research papers, preparing portfolios, and other timely topics. The Learning Center also provides use of computers for word processing.
Students can also receive feedback and help with their writing through SmarThinking and NetTutor, which can be accessed in Canvas.
