Summary: We will establish a Cybernetic Avatar cloud with low latency, high data transfer speeds and reliable operation.
In order to develop a common use CA cloud, we will conduct research on the international standardization of
the APIs for CA operation, communication security protocols, and the current service robot standards and safety regulations.
We aim to accelerate the social use of research outputs by quick integration of the core technologies researched and developed by other R&D partners to the CA cloud.
Goal: Construction of a CA cloud, which will allow multiple people and multiple CAs to connect with each other. Each of their skills, experiences and evidence will be shared through the CA cloud, where they can be copied, concentrated and modified. Various types of CAs will be connected in the CA cloud by standardization of the API for the CA cloud. This will help to further establish international standardization and safety regulations for this growing technology.
In order for cybernetic avatars ("CA") to be widely used in society, there are common requirements for functions and designs that CA should have as a robot, etc. On the other hand, there are also some requirements that CA needs to have depending on where CA is introduced and what kind of use it is intended for. As a reference for CA design, we have classified the applications and locations where CA is currently being used into categories, and summarized the data obtained in the relevant locations as reference materials, for the design and precautions required by CA, its users, and each of them, and published them as guideline. We will continuously update data on the guideline.
